General Information for All Ages - All Disciplines

Most popular for youngsters 5-11 is our Children’s Art Studio (CAS) Summer Program which features Painting, Watercolor, Sculpture, Collage, Drawing, Art In Nature, Art of the T-Shirt (textile art), Found Objects, Fired Ceramics, Beginner's Pottery-on-the-Wheel, Jewelrymaking, Silk Screen, Papermaking, Clay, Printmaking, and Participation in our Children’s Art Show at Summer's end. You can register for from 1 class to 100 or even more - whatever suits your children's schedule.

For Tweens, Teens, and Adults we feature a full range of Art Intensives in the Whole Art Learning Studio. Classes range from Painting and Ceramics to Welding Steel Sculptures and many types of Jewelry Making from dichroic fused glass to .999 Fine Silvermaking. Classes are held daily Monday through Friday. In addition, we have a full Pottery-on-the-Wheel Studio with ongoing sessions. Mommy/Daddy & Me classes are available for ages 2-4.

Torchworked glass beadmaking is a Tweens 'n Teens fave Our Pottery-on-the-Wheel classes fill very quickly Supervised snack break usually includes the "frog search".

 
Childrens' Art Studio classes are held Monday thru Friday all Summer for Children ages 5-9.

There are two daily Children's Art Studio workshop sessions which run from 9:30-11:45 and 11:45-2:00. Most students sign-up for both consecutive sessions. Each workshop is a complete session consisting of one or more projects. Each of the 12 weekly workshops is different. Parents need not return in-between workshops if they have signed their child(ren) up for both the morning and mid-day class. 
 


Mommy/Daddy & Me Class
Art-Smart Tweens 'n Teens 10-18's art intensives are held Mon.-Fri. during the Summer. Depending upon subject complexity, there are either two or three sessions daily beginning at 9:30am. See the full schedule for complete times and details.

We also have "Mommy / Daddy & Me" classes for ages 2-4.


Private Adult Classes are available in all disciplines
   
Private Adult Classes are available in many disciplines including Jewelry Making, Oil/Acrylic Painting, Ceramics, Welding, Sculpture, Watercolor, Silkscreen, Quark Xpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, Pottery-on-the-Wheel, Web design, & Photography (Traditional and Digital) Mosaic, Fused Glass, and much, much more. Many adults, including parents of registered students, also participate in our cutting edge Tweens 'n Teens classes.


 

Fall, Winter, and Spring Programs are available for ages 6-18 after school and on Saturdays. Programs for home-schooled children are available during school hours. Adult programs occur at a variety of times including some evening classes.

Artists' Woods methods remain ahead of the curve.
